Welcome to the world or fairies |
I know a little Fairy friend, and Echo is her name; Whatever words I shout to her, she shouts the very same. "Echo, cooee, come to me!' That is what I say. "Come to me!' She answers, far and far away. We often talk together, the Fairy child and I; But I have never seen her, for she is very shy. 'Echo, Echo, who are you? Tell me I entreat. 'Who are you?' She answers, calling clear and sweet. She lives among the ranges; I hear her cooee 'Come!' But, when I try to follow her, her Fairy voice is dumb. If l hurry back again, where l stood before, I can hear the Fairy answer me once more. I think she must be lonely for little girls and boys, With mountain-mists for playmates, and birds and flowers for toys. When l left the hills of blue, when we called 'Good-bye!' I could hear the Fairy, very nearly cry. But sometimes in the city she comes to visit me; She laughs around a corner, and flies before l see. When l go along the street, often l can hear Echo's little footsteps walking somewhere near. I wish the Fairy high-road was plain to understand; For Echo often tells me she lives in Fairyland. 'Do you live in Fairyland?' That is what I say. 'Fairyland!' she answers, far and far away. |
Open your eyes, she waits for you A delight to behold, she's seen by few All that beauty she doesn't waste On those who stop to hesitate |
Please stop a while for reverie And share her magic thoughtfully The worries of the day will slide When you unlock the magic deep inside |
When you feel a little breeze, or notice a tickle, or need to sneeze or find your things are rearranged or something seems a little strange Look very closely and you might see sparkly dust, or a buzzing bee: Behold! a fairy with gossamer wings has come to show you wondrous things! |

'Tis merry, 'tis merry, in Fairy-land When fairy birds are singing, When the court doth ride by their monarch's side, With bit and bridle ringing And gaily shines the fairy land But all is glistening show, Like the idle gleam that December's beam Can dart on ice and snow. |
Shimmering dreams that bring a smile Dancing thoughts for miles and miles Gossamer wings in swiftest flight Backlit by moonglow and heavenly light |
As the sun sinks neath the 'rison And the stars begin to shine Comes the Realm of Twilight A joyous, magic time A light a tiny lady Floats and dances in the air And becons you to follow As she flies without a care You find your spirit soaring As the world fades in the mist But you care not for it's passing For you were born for this |
Fly Away with me touch my hand and we'll soar... Hold me close, fly away to the stars Fly away with me. Let your dreams light your path Through the night... fly away To your heart... |

Moonlight pools in a silent grove nimble bodies dance to and fro. Frolicking past, a dance ages old twisting and turning, lovely as gold Faerie dust brushing a watcher's feet lifting her up, catch on to the beat. Moonlight shimmers in this silent grove, the faeries dance to and fro. Ephemeral as the fading of the moon the soft dawning of a poignant tune. The chrystal clear light of the pinkening day shows the fairies sprightly away. Leaving this forlorn watcher overcome by the beauty of what, this night has been done. |
